European Effort and Commitment for University-Industry Cooperation
The I RUISNET Convention aims to bring together the most important actors in all sides of the spectrum related to University-Industry Collaboration. Along with the members of the project RUISNET, we will count with the presence of representatives from Specialized European Networks, Regional Development Agencies, Enterprises, Universities, public institutions.
The project RUISNET was conceived in order to improve and encourage University-Industry relations at the European regional framework. For this endeavour, the ten partners from 9 European regions have work hard in order to accomplish the goals set at the beginning of the project: To take firm steps towards the achievement ofthe Lisbon agenda; to identify cases of good practices of collaboration between University and Industry with repercussion on Regional Development; Dynamisation of the participation of the agents involved and interested in university-industry relations, To promote social awareness of the transcendence and importance of such collaboration, through the establishment of the I European University-Industry Good Practices Awards, which will be officially presented in this event.
