Antonio Aracil García
Director-General, Fundación Universidad-Empresa de Valencia, ADEIT
Antonio Aracil, BA in Law by the University of Valencia, he has worked as a private lawyer and, for over two years he worked in the Social Council of the University of Valencia.
Antonio Aracil is currently the General Director of Fundación Universidad-Empresa de Valencia, an organization that works to strenghten the links betwen the University of Valencia an its social and economic environement.
Adding to this, he is Secretary of the Chair of Entrepreneurial Culture of the University of Valencia and member of the Quality Committee of the University of Valencia. General Estudies.
His experience in the organization of the Spanish University-Industry Awards when he was President of the Spanish Network of University-Industry Foundations is a very important asset for RUISNET.

José María Costa Lafarga
European Affairs Advisor. Valencian Regional Government, Ministry of Enterprise, University and Science
José Mª Costa Lafarga studied Chemistry in the University of Valencia. He also spent six years at the Massachussets Institute of Technology, where he earned, among others, a degree of M.A. in Food Technology and a Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering. Few years later, he completed his education with a M.A. degree in Public Administration by Harvard University.
José María Costa Lafarga is Professor of Chemical Engineering at the Polytechnical University of Valencia since 1985. His professional career has develop around diplomacy and management of Science and Technology at the United Nations Industrial Development Agency, the Valencian Regional Government, and above all at the European Commission, where he worked for 16 years.
His professional activities in the first stage were focused on topics of management and promotion of the activities of R+D. Later he reoriented his activity to the field of diplomacy, being an Adviser of Science, Technology and Education of the European Commission in Washington and later a representative before the International Organisms established in Vienna, in particular the International Organism of Atomic energy.
Since January 2005, he works as European Affairs Advisor of the Valencian Regional Government, Ministry of Enterprise, University and Science.

Enrica Chiozza
European Comisión. DG Regional Policy
Responsible of R+D+i Structural Funds for the period 2007-2013
Enrica Chiozza got a Master degree in Economics and Business Administration at University of Genoa in Italy and a Master Philosophy in Structural Economy at the University Autonomous of Madrid with a research essay on “Economic ecosystems as collaborative environments for local growth”.
Enrica joined the European Commission in February 2000, Directorate General for Information Society, to follow-up research and development projects aimed at boosting information communication technologies in small organisations for local development. In October 2005 she has joined the Directorate General for Regional Policy to follow-up the operational programmes and cohesion funds for Spain, particularly those related to innovation and local growth.
Before joining the European Commission she worked for more than nine years as research and development project manager for a Spanish private research institute specialised in knowledge-based engineering application-systems.
She is used to give lectures at summer and autumn university courses about the role of ICT for local growth. She has chaired several workshops on the same subject ang given several key-note speeches in international conferences.

Jacques Evrard
President of EURADA, European Association of Development Agencies
Jacques Evrard is the General Manager of the International relations department at the Brussels Enterprise Agency, he has been manager and co-ordinator of the Brussels Innovation Relay Centre project (BIRC). Since 1995, he is also SME and Innovation (5th and 6th EU R&D Framework Programme) National Contact Point for Belgium. Among his duties he is responsible for the attraction of Foreign Direct Investments for the Brussels Capital Region.
He is a member of the management committee of the Brussels Enterprise Agency .
He is also EU expert, as a member of the Management Committee for the EU Innovation & SME programme (EU 5th RTD Framework programme) and the Research and Innovation Programme (6th RTD Framework programme). He graduated from the Solvay Business School of the ULB (Université Libre de Bruxelles) and has also 15 years of past experience in enterprise environment as SME general Manager and development manager for a large Belgian multinational. Accessorily he his teaching SME strategy at a Brussels based business school. Since end of 2005 he is the President of EURADA. (European Association of regional development agencies).

Ignacio Fernández de Lucio
Director of INGENIO (CSIC-UPV)
Ignacio Fernández de Lucio is Ph.D in agricultural engineering by Universidad Politécnica de Valencia (UPV) and also a Scientific Researcher for the Superior Council of Scientific Research (CSIC). He is currently director of the Institute of Innovation and knowledge management (INGENIO) (CSIC-UPV) and profesor of Innovation and Innovation Systems: “Applied Innovation Systems in the design of organizations and regional policy”.
He has dedicated over 20 years of his professional career to science and technology management, working as an adviser of the Inter-Ministries Commission of Science and Technology (Spain) between 1989 and 1995. He was also adviser of the XVI subprogram CYTED during the period 1992-2000 and as a responsible of the Centre for the Relations with the Socioeconomic Environment of the Polytechnic University of Valencia from 1989 to 1999. He has directed 5 doctoral thesis, participated in over 15 research projects and published over 60 articles and books about these subjects. He has disseminate his knowledge through courses, seminars and conferences and Europe and Latin America. In 2005 he was awarded with the “Juan de la Cierva” National Price of Research; prize given every two years, the Spanish Ministry of Science and Education.

Adela García Aracil
Researcher, INGENIO (CSIC-UPV)
Adela Garia received her doctorate in Economics with European Mention from the University of Valencia.
She is currently working as researcher in INGENIO (Institute for Innovation and Knowledge Management), centre coordinated by the Superior Council of Scientific Research (CSIC) and by the Polytechnic University of Valencia (UPV). She has participated in the elaboration of the SOTA Report of the Valencia Community.
From 1999 until 2001 she worked as a consultant of the World Bank (Washington, DC) in the department of Human Social Development, collaborating in project related with poverty and education in different countries of Latin America.

José Vicente González Pérez
President of the Valencian Business Confereation (CEV)
José Vicente González is the President of the Valencian Business Confederation (CEV). The main goal of this organization is to represent and defend the corporate interests of Valencian businessmen/women.
He is also President and General Manager of GH Electrotermia, a metal-mechanic company, founded by him in 1961.

Philippe Laredo
Research Director of LATTS-École Nationale des Ponts et Chaussées, CSI – Centre of Innovation Sociology, Paris - France
Laredo studied and got his degree at the Ecole des Hautes Etudes Commerciales in 1972, he received a doctorate in economics in 1980 at the Ecole des Hautes Etudes en Sciences Sociales.
He was Research Director of the Territorios, Techniques and Societies Lab (LATTS) since the end of 2002.
He holds the French Certificate of “ Capability to manage research” (HDR) earned on January 6th 2004 at the Université des Sciences Sociales de Toulouse.
Scientific Coordinator of the Network of Excellence PRIME (2004-2008).
Responsible of the module "Processus, systèmes et politiques de l'Innovation" at the Ecole Nationale des Ponts et Chaussées (ENPC) since 2002.

Georgios Peroulakis
Georgios Peroulakis. EC – DG REGIO F1 – SPAIN. Desk officer for ROP Valencia
Georgios Peroulakis joined the European Commission in June 1986. He worked for the Departments of Environment (Global Climate Change); Energy (Promotion of Renewables, Trans European Networks); Regional Policy (Evaluation). Since 2004, Spain Unit, he is in charge with the RIOP for the Valencia Community and the coordination of Environmental issues for Spain.

Javier Quesada Ibáñez
Professor of the University of Valencia and Member of the Board of Trustees of Fundación Universidad-Empresa de Valencia, ADEIT.
Javier Quesada Ibáñez is Ph.D. Professor of the University of Valencia and a research professor at the Valencian Institute of Economic Investigations (IVIE), centre created in 1989 by the Generalitat Valenciana (Valencian Regional Government) and dedicated to the development and promotion of economic research for the general interest.
Javier Quesada is a member of the Board of Trustees of Fundación Universidad-Empresa de Valencia.

Fernando Vidal Giménez
Director General - IMPIVA
Fernando Vidal studied Agricultural Engineering at the Polytechnic University of Valencia; he holds a PhD in Economics, Sociology and Agricultural Policy by the same university (UPV).
He is professor of Economics, Sociology and Agricultural Policy at the University of Alicante – Miguel Hernández since 2002.
He is the President of the Economic Group of the Spanish Society of Horticultural Science, and since November 2005, IMPIVA’s Director General.
He is author co-author and editor of 19 books and 24 scientific magazines. He has edited and revised several scientific magazines among the “Spanish Journal of Agricultural Research” or The Spanish Journal of Social Agriculture and Fishing Studies, CIRE.
