I European Awards University-INDUSTRY Cooperation with Regional Development
RUISNET – Regional University-Industry Strategies Network,
is a project part-financed by the initiative INTERREG IIIC South is presenting the I European Awards of Cooperation University-Industry with Regional Impact.
These prizes have been conceived to award excellence in good practices that, throughout Europe, fall in the following categories:
- SMEs, Innovation and Territory
- Training and Labour Market
- Entrepreneurial Spirit, and Knowledge Based Enterprise Creation
These categories follow the three specific areas enforced in the Lisbon Agenda.
The best cases correctly presented that successfully passed the Quality Control, based on the Eligibility Criteria (University-Industry Cooperation and Regional Impact) are included in the RUISNET Observatory of Good Practices.
The best cases coming from the Observatory that show excellence in the rest of the Evaluation Criteria (Innovation, Transferability and Sustainability), are included in the RUISNET Guide of Good Practices.
The best European cases of good practices of University-Industry Cooperation with Regional Impact became final candidates for the Awards. The awards were given the 26th of April 2007, in a ceremony held in the Solvay Library, in Brussels.
The evaluation process counted with the participation of external experts, along with others provided by the European Networks, members of the Advisory Council of RUISNET. The Jury was presided by Katarina Mathernova, Director DG Regio F, and counted with high representatives from the Administration, University and Enterprise spheres.
