- Managing Director of South Bank University Enterprises Limited Responsible for the affairs of LSBU’s commercial company including the commercialisation of LSBU’s Intellectual Property
- Non-Executive Director of ELAM-T (LSBU’s first spin out company)
- BP plc (1981 – 92) Numerous positions from Research Chemist to Technology Manager covering enhanced oil recovery to new plastics.
- Smith Kline (1980 - 81) Research Chemist involved in the development and scale up on new pharmaceutical products
- Rolls Royce and Associates Ltd (1971-74) Analytical Chemist involved in the water chemistry of nuclear power plants
